Volunteers are the entire engine of iAdopt. They transport animals, coordinate fosters, write adoption posts, show up at rescues, and do the hundred small things that no grant covers.

These aren't one-size-fits-all. Tell us where you are and what you can give, and we'll figure out the fit together.
Foster a pet
Take in a rescued pup, kitten, dog or cat temporarily until we find them a forever home. We cover medical costs, you provide the home and love.
Adoption drives & events
Help us run on-ground adoption events — set up, manage crowds, talk to interested adopters, coordinate with the team.
Transport volunteer
Help move animals between vets, fosters, and adoption meet-points across Chennai. Especially helpful if you have a car.
Street rescue & feeding
Care for stray animals in your neighbourhood — feed regularly, attend to sick or injured ones, and speak up when you see ill-treatment.
Vet & medical coordination
Help coordinate vet visits, vaccinations, sterilisations, and follow-ups for animals in care.
Content & social media
Help us tell rescue stories — write captions, take photos, edit videos, keep our Instagram and blog warm and active.
What to expect

We'll be direct with you about what roles need, what commitment looks like, and what we can and can't offer in return. You'll always know where you fit and what's expected.
