Alaska's story
Tied up, dumped, and left with a wound no animal should endure.
Alaska, a Pomeranian, was tied up and cruelly dumped, left to cope with a deep neck wound on his own. By the time he was found, the wound was severely maggot-infested and his whole neck was swollen and infected. He had been struggling with it for a long time, and he needed immediate veterinary care.
At the hospital, tests showed abnormal blood values and suspected tick fever on top of the infected wound and infection-related weakness. Alaska has since spent the past few weeks in medical boarding for wound cleaning, blood tests, monitoring, and a round of antibiotics to clear the infection.
He is showing good recovery. Your donation covers what the rest of it costs.
